He grew up in Wynberg in the Cape and studied at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained his BA degree in 1975 and his LLB degree in 1977. He joined the Department of Justice as a State Prosecutor at the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court in 1978, from where he was transferred to the office of the State Attorney in Johannesburg to start his attorney’s articles. He was admitted as an Attorney in 1982 and as a Conveyancer and Notary in 1993. He also obtained a Diploma in Tax Practice. He specialises in conveyancing and commercial transactions and liquor licence applications.
He grew up in Johannesburg and studied at the North West University (Potchefstroom Campus), where he obtained the degrees B Iuris in 1974 and LLB in 1976. After doing his compulsory Defence Force service where he excelled to the rank of Captain in the legal department, he joined the Department of Justice as a Prosecutor in 1979 and qualified as an Attorney in 1981. He worked as a Magistrate and High Court Litigant until joining Stephanus Steyn as a partner in Paarl. Being in a diversified country practice, his day-to- day work varies to include the litigation of the practice, motor vehicle accident claims (damages and injuries), debt collecting, estates, divorces, immigration matters and commercial work including drafting of contracts, formation of companies and trusts.
He grew up in the small picturesque Free State town of Bethlehem and studied at Stellenbosch University where he obtained his BComm LLB degree in 2010. He completed is clerkship at Steyn Coetzee and was appointed as an associate after he was admitted as an attorney in 2013. He specialises in the National Credit Act, debt recovery, debt review, firearm license applications and is also a business rescue practitioner.
Elzahn was born and raised in Paarl, but resided in Strand for the greater part of her teenage years. She attended Bloemhof High School in Stellenbosch and studied at the University of the Free State where she obtained her BComm LLB, LLB and German Honours degrees in 2014 and 2016 respectively. She completed her clerkship in Potchefstroom where she also attended and completed Law School in 2017. She joined Steyn Coetzee as a junior attorney early in 2018. She has experience in the administration of deceased estates, trusts and will also be practising in conveyancing.
